Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for paid subscriptions to klaaro.ai. Payments for self-serve plans are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record.

1. Merchant of Record

Paddle is the Merchant of Record for klaaro.ai subscriptions. Your payment, tax, invoicing, and subscription management are handled by Paddle on our behalf. When you purchase a paid plan, you enter into a transaction with Paddle subject to Paddle's terms in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Free trial

The Klaaro Trial plan is free and does not require a payment method. No refund applies because no charge is made for the trial itself.

3. Subscription cancellation

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your billing settings. When you cancel, access to paid allowances continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund amounts already paid for the current period.

4. Refund eligibility

Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. We may issue a refund or credit at our discretion for billing errors, duplicate charges, or exceptional circumstances. Usage-based overage charges are calculated from metered page usage and are not refundable once billed for the relevant period.

5. How to request a refund

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@klaaro.ai with your team name, billing email, and invoice or transaction reference. We will review the request and coordinate with Paddle where applicable. We aim to respond within a reasonable time, typically within five business days.

6. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, resolution may take longer and your account access may be suspended while the dispute is investigated. Please email us first so we can resolve billing issues quickly.

7. Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of paid plans after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy unless applicable law requires otherwise.
